About This Game
Introduction: "Pokemon Darkness" is a fan-made ROM hack of Pokemon FireRed for the Game Boy Advance, not a Super Nintendo Entertainment System title. It is set in the new Korros Region and uses the standard Generation III visual style with some custom sprite work for new characters and areas.
Gameplay & Mechanics: The hack offers a choice of three starter Pokemon: Eevee, Riolu, and Shinx. Its difficulty is notably higher than the base game, featuring stronger Gym Leaders and trainers with more strategic teams, making it less Nuzlocke-friendly for beginners. It retains the Generation III mechanics, meaning it does not include the Physical/Special split from Generation IV or the Fairy type. A day and night cycle is implemented, affecting wild Pokemon encounters.

- A completely new story with a rival named Damien and a narrative focused on the antagonistic Team Eclipse.
