About This Game
Introduction: Pokemon: 2Awesome Version is a fan-made ROM hack of Pokemon FireRed for the Game Boy Advance. It is set in the new region of Kaskade, a land of islands and mountains. The visual style uses FireRed's engine with custom tiles, sprites, and maps to create a distinct environment.
Gameplay & Mechanics: The hack offers a choice of three starter Pokemon: Chimchar, Treecko, and Totodile, pulling from multiple generations. Its difficulty is notably higher than the base game, featuring stronger Gym Leaders and trainers with improved AI and full teams, making it a challenge for experienced players. It incorporates the Physical/Special split from Generation IV and includes the Fairy type from Generation VI, along with moves and abilities from later games. Mega Evolution is not present.
