About This Game
Introduction: Pokémon: Advanced Adventure (Beta 1) is a fan-made ROM hack of Pokémon FireRed for the Game Boy Advance. It is set in the new Kanto Advanced region, which is an expanded and redesigned version of the original Kanto. The visual style uses FireRed's engine with new maps, sprites for characters and some Pokémon, and custom tiles for towns and routes.
Gameplay & Mechanics: The hack offers a choice of three starter Pokémon: Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip from Hoenn. It maintains the original FireRed mechanics, meaning it does not include the Physical/Special split from Generation IV, the Fairy type, or Mega Evolution. The difficulty is higher than the base game, with stronger Gym Leader teams and adjusted wild Pokémon levels, making it more challenging but not specifically designed as a Nuzlocke hack. A day and night cycle is not present in this beta.
