About This Game
Introduction: Pokemon Arcoiris is a Spanish-language ROM hack of Pokemon FireRed for the Game Boy Advance. It is set in the new Arcoiris Region, a fan-made area with a visual style closely matching the original FireRed engine, featuring standard GBA-era sprites and tiles.
Gameplay & Mechanics: The hack offers a choice of three starter Pokemon: Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. It retains the original FireRed mechanics, meaning it does not include the Physical/Special split, the Fairy type, or Mega Evolution. The difficulty is standard for a base FireRed experience and is not specifically designed as a Nuzlocke challenge. The game includes the standard day/night cycle from the original GBA titles.
Key Features:
- A completely new story and set of characters within the Arcoiris Region.
- All Pokemon from the first three generations are available to catch.
- Being a beta version (0.2), the game is incomplete and contains bugs, glitches, and areas that cannot be accessed.
