About This Game
Introduction: Pokémon Crono is a fan-made ROM hack of Pokémon FireRed for the Game Boy Advance. It is set in the new region of Chronos, a land shaped by temporal anomalies. The visual style uses FireRed's engine with custom tiles and sprites to create a distinct, slightly darker aesthetic compared to the original Kanto.
Gameplay & Mechanics: The game offers a choice of three starter Pokémon: Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. Its difficulty is notably higher than standard FireRed, featuring stronger Gym Leaders and wild Pokémon with improved AI and movesets, making it a challenging but fair experience for seasoned players. It incorporates the Physical/Special split from Generation IV and includes the Fairy type. A day and night cycle is also implemented, affecting wild encounters and certain events.
