About This Game
Introduction: Pokemon Furious Flames (Beta 2.20) is a fan-made ROM hack of Pokemon FireRed for the Game Boy Advance. It is set in the new Flamoria Region, a land shaped by volcanic activity and fire-type Pokemon. The visual style uses FireRed's base assets with new maps, sprites, and a distinct fiery color palette.
Gameplay & Mechanics: The game offers a choice of three fire-type starters: Charmander, Cyndaquil, and Torchic. It is designed for a higher difficulty level, featuring tougher trainer battles and Gym Leaders with full teams of six Pokemon, making it a challenge for players familiar with standard games. It retains the original FireRed mechanics, meaning it does not include the Physical/Special split, the Fairy type, or Mega Evolution. A day and night cycle is not present in this hack.
