About This Game
Introduction: Pokemon Hollow Mysteries is a fan-made ROM hack of Pokemon FireRed for the Game Boy Advance. It is set in the new Kaskade Region, a land of islands and mountains with a story centered on investigating strange dimensional rifts. The visual style uses the standard GBA tiles and sprites with some custom artwork for new characters and locations.
Gameplay & Mechanics: The game offers a choice of three starters: Riolu, Shinx, and Gible. It is built on the FireRed engine but incorporates the Physical/Special split from later generations and includes the Fairy type. The difficulty is elevated compared to the base game, with tougher trainer AI and level curves, making it a solid choice for players seeking a challenge.
