Pokemon Master Version

Introduction: "Pokemon Master Version" is a fan-made ROM hack of Pokemon FireRed for the Game Boy Advance. It is set in the Kanto region, but the story is significantly altered, focusing on a player character who aims to become the ultimate Pokemon Master. The visual style uses the standard FireRed engine with some custom sprite edits for characters and a few new areas.

Gameplay & Mechanics: The hack retains the original three Kanto starters: Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. It is known for its increased difficulty, featuring higher-level Gym Leaders and Elite Four members with improved AI and team compositions, making it a popular choice for players seeking a challenge. It does not implement the Physical/Special split from later generations, nor does it add the Fairy type. Key mechanical changes include a reworked level curve and the availability of Pokemon from later generations, such as Tyranitar and Metagross, integrated into the Kanto wild encounters and trainer rosters.
