About This Game
Introduction: Pokemon Stadium Advanced (Beta 1.1) is a fan-made ROM hack of Pokemon FireRed. It is not a port of the Nintendo 64 game but a new adventure set in the Stadium Region. The visual style uses the standard Generation 3 GBA engine, with custom sprites for trainers and some Pokemon.
Gameplay & Mechanics: The hack offers a choice of three starter Pokemon: Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. It is designed with a higher difficulty curve than the base game, featuring stronger Gym Leaders and wild Pokemon with improved movesets, making it suitable for players seeking a challenge. It retains the original Generation 3 mechanics, meaning it does not include the Physical/Special split, the Fairy type, or Mega Evolution. The day/night cycle from later GBA games is not present.
