About This Game

Pokemon Victory Fire (beta 1.75) Box Art

Introduction: Pokémon Victory Fire is a fan-made ROM hack of Pokémon FireRed for the Game Boy Advance. The game is set in the new Tyron Region, a land with a history of conflict between two ancient kingdoms. Visually, it uses the standard Generation III engine with custom maps, sprites, and tiles to create its own world.

Gameplay & Mechanics: The hack retains the core mechanics of its base game, meaning it does not include the Physical/Special split, the Fairy type, or Mega Evolution. You choose your starter from Treecko, Torchic, or Mudkip. The difficulty is notably higher than official games, with stronger Gym Leader teams and a more demanding level curve, making it less forgiving for casual Nuzlocke runs. A day and night cycle is not present.

Key Features:

  • A completely original story set in the Tyron Region, involving the villainous team Team Rocket and the legacy of a legendary war.
  • An expanded Pokédex featuring Pokémon from Generations I through IV, allowing for teams not possible in the official GBA titles.
  • Post-game content including the Rankor Region, which acts as a second, challenging area to explore after the main story.

This hack offers a substantial new adventure for players familiar with the FireRed framework but seeking a fresh region and greater challenge.
