About This Game
Introduction: Pokémon Chrome (V0.6) is an unfinished ROM hack of Pokémon FireRed for the Game Boy Advance. It is set in the new Chrome Region, a land threatened by the criminal organization Team Chrome. The visual style uses modified tiles and sprites from later generations, including some from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, while retaining the core GBA aesthetic.
Gameplay & Mechanics: The hack offers a choice of three starter Pokémon: Charmander, Treecko, and Piplup. Its difficulty is higher than the base game, with stronger trainer teams and adjusted level curves, making it a candidate for Nuzlocke challenges. It implements the Physical/Special split from Generation IV and adds the Fairy type. Key mechanics like Mega Evolution are not present in this version, and it does not feature a day/night cycle.
Key Features:

- Access to Pokémon from Generations I through IV, expanding the available roster beyond FireRed.
