Pokemon Gaia

Introduction: Pokémon Gaia is a complete fan-made ROM hack of Pokémon FireRed for the Game Boy Advance. It is set in the new Orbtus Region, a land shaped by ancient tectonic activity and the mysterious power of Groudon and Kyogre. The visual style is an enhanced version of the standard GBA engine, featuring updated tilesets, new character sprites, and detailed environments that include caves with dynamic lighting effects.

Gameplay & Mechanics: The game offers a choice of three starters: Chimchar, Piplup, and Turtwig. It is built on a modernized engine, incorporating the Physical/Special split from Generation IV, the addition of the Fairy type and moves from Generation VI, and Mega Evolution. The difficulty is moderately increased with smarter AI and stronger trainer teams, making it more challenging than the base FireRed but still accessible and Nuzlocke-friendly due to its polished design and lack of major bugs.
