About This Game
Introduction: Pokémon Glazed is a fan-made ROM hack of Pokémon Emerald for the Game Boy Advance. It is set across three regions: the new Tunod region, the familiar Johto, and the custom Rankor. The visual style uses the Generation III engine with custom tiles, sprites, and maps that expand beyond the typical Emerald presentation.
Gameplay & Mechanics: The hack begins with a choice of five starters: Charmander, Mudkip, Treecko, Riolu, and Shinx. It is considered a moderate-to-difficult hack, featuring tougher trainers and level curves that require more strategic team building, making it popular for Nuzlocke challenges. It implements the Physical/Special split from Generation IV, adds the Fairy type, and includes a day/night cycle. Mega Evolution is also present later in the game.
