Introduction: Pokemon Frosty is a fan-made ROM hack of Pokemon FireRed for the Game Boy Advance. It is set in the new Frosty Region, a land characterized by snowy landscapes and icy terrain. The visual style retains the base game's engine but introduces new tilesets, sprites, and a predominantly wintry color palette to match its theme.

Gameplay & Mechanics: The game offers a choice of three starter Pokemon: Snorunt, Swinub, and Spheal, all Ice-type or Ice-type evolutionary lines. The difficulty is increased compared to the base game, with higher-leveled trainers and Gym Leaders, making it a more challenging experience that is not inherently designed as Nuzlocke-friendly due to the limited early-game type diversity. It implements the Physical/Special split from Generation IV and includes the Fairy type. A day and night cycle is also present.
