About This Game
Introduction: "Pokemon Meowth (red hack)" is a fan-made ROM hack of the Game Boy Advance game Pokemon FireRed, designed to run on Game Boy Advance hardware or emulators. It is not a Game Boy (DMG) title. The hack modifies the Kanto region, centering its narrative on the Team Rocket mascot, Meowth. The visual style remains identical to FireRed, using its engine and tilesets.
Gameplay & Mechanics: The player begins with a Meowth as their starter Pokemon. The game's difficulty is generally standard, mirroring the base FireRed challenge, and is not specifically designed as a Nuzlocke hack. It does not implement the Physical/Special split from Generation IV, nor does it add the Fairy type or Mega Evolution. It retains the FireRed day/night cycle mechanics, which are not present in the original Game Boy titles.
