Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - Explorers of Sky (EU)

Introduction: This is an official Nintendo DS game, an expanded version of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness. The story is set in a world populated entirely by Pokemon, centered around a guild in Treasure Town. The visual style uses 2D sprites and environments, with a focus on dungeon-crawling rather than the overworld exploration of mainline titles.

Gameplay & Mechanics: You begin by taking a personality quiz to determine your player character Pokemon from a pool of 19 starters, including all from Generations 1-4 except for Pikachu and Eevee, who are also available. Your partner can be any of the other starters. The core gameplay is a roguelike dungeon crawl with turn-based movement and attacks. There is no Physical/Special split, Fairy type, or Mega Evolution, as the battle system is unique to the Mystery Dungeon series. The difficulty is notable for its challenging, sometimes unpredictable dungeon design and boss fights, making it less suited for a traditional Nuzlocke challenge.
