About This Game
Introduction: This is not a game. "Game Boy Advance Video: Pokemon: Volume 3" is an official, licensed video cartridge for the Game Boy Advance system. It contains episodes of the Pokemon anime, specifically from the Johto region arc, allowing them to be watched on the handheld's screen. It has no gameplay, story, or region to explore; it is purely a media playback device.
Gameplay & Mechanics: There are no gameplay mechanics. The cartridge does not run a FireRed or Emerald ROM. You cannot choose a starter, battle, or catch Pokemon. The "difficulty" and mechanical changes associated with ROM hacks, such as the Physical/Special split or Fairy type, are completely absent. Interaction is limited to play, pause, and scene selection functions for the episodes.
