About This Game
Introduction: "Pokemon Hoenn League (beta 1.1)" is a fan-made ROM hack of the official Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire games, designed to run on a Game Boy Advance emulator, not the Game Boy Color. The hack is set in the familiar Hoenn region and uses the standard Generation 3 visual style and engine.
Gameplay & Mechanics: The hack retains the original starter choices of Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip. Its primary mechanical change is a significant increase in difficulty, featuring higher-level Gym Leaders and Elite Four members with improved AI and move-sets, making it a challenge for experienced players. It does not include the Physical/Special split from Generation 4 or the Fairy type. The core mechanics, including abilities and the battle system, remain true to Generation 3.
