About This Game
Introduction: "Pokémon Sovereign of the Skies" is a German-language ROM hack of Pokémon FireRed. It is set in the new region of Almoria and uses the standard Generation III visual style. The story involves a legendary Pokémon of the sky and a plot by the villainous team Team Aeros to control the region's weather.
Gameplay & Mechanics: The hack offers a choice of three starter Pokémon: Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip. Its difficulty is considered higher than the base FireRed game, with tougher trainer battles and Gym Leaders, though it is not specifically designed as a Nuzlocke challenge. It retains the original Generation III mechanics, meaning it does not include the Physical/Special split from Generation IV, the Fairy type, or Mega Evolution. A day and night cycle is not implemented.
